The Wanted is a British-Irish boy band. Its members are Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes.

Their first single was All Time Low and it was released in July 2010, reaching number one in the UK and holding the spot for a week. This was followed by their eponymous first album which was released in October of the same year. It peaked at number four in the UK. Producers such as Guy Chambers, Taio Cruz and Steve Mac worked on the album.

One of The Wanted’s best-known hits is Glad You Came which reached the top of the chart for a fortnight in the UK and five weeks in Ireland. The band’s second album, Battleground, came out in November, 2011.

The Wanted was formed in 2009 after a group audition held by the same person who put together The Saturdays and Parade.

The group has gone on to support Justin Bieber in Brazil and Britney Spears on her Femme Fatale tour in the UK. The Wanted have appeared at events such as T4 On The Beach, V Festival and the iTunes Festival.
