Modern Day Midas - Chasing Giants

I've never really known what it is the fear losing a love that you hold so dear
Because it seems to me there's always a chase toward a moment that you need as your saving grace
And I've been stuck somewhere between crownless kings and big city dreams
They raise me up just to watch me fall as a reminder that without them I'd be nothing at all

I've spent my life Chasing Giants down the road they led me on
But I am done staying quiet, they're going to know my voice when I'm done

And there comes a time when we're forced to grow past the things that we've always know
And I know for me that my time is now because the last thing that I want is to let myself down
And I tried to find a new word for love because with what I've done it doesn't feel like enough
To give yourself but always use more towards someone else's quotas to settle your scores

I've spent my life Chasing Giants down the road they led me on
But I am done staying quiet, they're going to know my voice when I'm done
