For the latest news in what matters to you
You're listening to AM 1200 Eyewitness news
A new development in the mass missing persons case of over 30 young adults
Finds an alibi for the last remaining suspects
Leaving law enforcement empty handed
And the community in shock as the perpetrator remains at large
For more on this spinecurling and bizarre case
We go live to field correspondent Patrick Bogart

Thank you Harvey
Right now I'm standing outside the Riggle's household in Chantilly Virginia
Just 15 miles east of our nation's capital
Where tragedy has struck in a way never before seen
By this quaint suburban community
It was the evening of May 5th
A summer night like any other
Neighbors were walking their dogs and frying their beans
However, one out of the ordinary event was taking place on Hamlin Avenue
Neighbor Mellisa Stonewall puts it into her own words

Well the Riggle's kid was always pretty nice to all of us
I'd see him working down at the Y and he'd say hello
But that music he was always playin' it was...
Well it was something else
He had this friend over all the time and they'd just be
Practicing and practicing and practicing in his garage
All day I tell you
Then, that night, they put on this big show in the backyard
And I'll tell you, those kids could put on a show
Police said there were thirty-forty some folks who showed up
Just to see these two boys messing around with music
Well, if you could even call it music

The show began at 6:30 that evening
Where the first act Mary Speed performed tracks from their EP
"Chocolate Milk and the Patriarchy"
Followed by The Flying Peacocks
And Riggle's own band Flip and Drown
However, as neighbors who overheard the show reported
A fourth and previously unannounced act took the stage
All of sudden, there was this, crazy sound!
I never heard anythin like it before
It was like an explosion but all high and electric
And then this voice comes out
Or it might've been two or three or a hundred
And all they said was-

We are Hotdog Water
What reportedly followed was a barrage of musical peculiarities
And indescribable sounds
When police arrived at approximately 8:30 in response to noise complaints
They were shocked to find an empty yard
Where once stood nearly three dozen local youth
Since then, there has been no concrete evidence or leads tying any of the perpetrators to the evidence
Leaving the community in disbelief as the question remains on everyone's lips
Who is Hotdog Water?
