Franks - Interview (Prologue)

10-4 is where my journey begins
But what I didn't know was
It was a journey of sins
The trail filled with lies of my has-beens
Has been eating me up, enough
It's tough to admit it aloud
It makes me think am I even allowed?
This isn't what I was expected to do
They're dismissive well yeah, who knew
Not you, it's cute the truth in your youth
Well I guess I wouldn't know
I see the chance and just say no
That I could never be like that
Like I'm just sitting too far back
I really need to stay on track
So, I'm, viewer and performer
Bu' I don't want to be the former
I don't wanna kick back to them dull days
Where I'm sat on my arse thinking it's a phase
But truth be told I ain't phased
That you ain't grown out of it
You, just, watch the world go by
Until the day you go bye
But see, for me, there is no lay-by
N I ain't ever ask why
Now I'm putting pen to paper
Look how happy it made her
The saviour is braver than you
I quake cause I'm liable to break
I'm doing just great in heaven for hell's-sake
There's no stopping now I'm wide awake
I'm not looking for a live debate
'N' I ain't giving you a story to rate
I'm just saying it's a few years late
But there's now no need for that
Look, I don't care for what team you bat
Your backs against the wall, don't fall
Remember the temper from back in November
The fire in your emberliving just saying
I'm not trying to be absurd
'N' I'm not lying just to hurt
Looking back at all the words
It makes me think, what am I saying?
