will.i.am Lyrics and Profile

Will.i.am first found fame with hip-hop band, The Black Eyed Peas. The band were extremely successful, enjoying seven Grammy Awards, eight American Music Awards, two Video Music Awards, three World Music Awards, a Teen Choice Award and a Billboard Music Award.

Following his achievements with The Black Eyed Peas, will.i.am began a solo career back in 2001 when he released his debut album The Lost Change. Whilst no singles were released from the album, it served as the original soundtrack for the film of the same name. In 2003 and 2007 the rapper released his second and third studio albums, titled Must B 21 and Songs About Girls. No singles were released from Must B 21. However, his third album saw chart-topping success with singles Heartbreaker (featuring Cheryl Cole) and One More Chance.

It was fourth studio album #willpower that received the most press attention. The collection of songs features Scream & Shout with Britney Spears and Hall Of Fame with The Script; two singles which took music charts around the world by storm. A long line of star-studded names feature on will.i.am’s fourth studio album, including Demi Lovato, Justin Bieber, Alicia Keys and Busta Rhymes.

As well as an illustrious music career, will.i.am is a well-known face on UK talent show The Voice UK. Joining the show as a coach in 2011, alongside Jessie J, Tom Jones and Danny O’Donoghue, it was this project which introduced him to The Script front man, O’Donoghue, and eventually brought about the number one hit Hall Of Fame. In 2014 he joined the Australian version of the hit TV show, juggling both at the same time.

Will.i.am is also involved in a wide variety of endeavours outside of music, including the launch of his own clothes line in 2005 and investment in ‘digital real estate’.
