Flo Rida, real name Tramar Lacel Dillard, released his debut album ‘Mail On Sunday’ in 2010. The first single to hit the US was titled ‘Low’, featuring rapper T-Pain, and reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 Chart. The track was also used in film ‘Step Up 2: The Streets’, which gave the rapper’s music exposure on a global scale.

On the back of the album’s success, 2009 saw his second album ‘R.O.O.T.S.’ take the music charts by storm. This was furthered by the first single to be released from the collection of songs; ‘Right Round’ featuring Ke$ha. The track broke the record for the most digital one week sales in the US, selling 636,000. Flo Rida’s success with collaborations has continued over the years, with him teaming up with Olly Murs for ‘Troublemaker’ in 2012. The single peaked at number one in the UK Singles Chart, 34 on the US Billboard Hot 100 Chart and numerous top ten positions in music charts around the globe.

With his fourth studio album being released in 2012, the rapper’s associated single releases have reached top five positions all over the world. In 2013 Flo Rida announced that his new track was to be titled ‘I Cry’, which he performed for the first time on television show America’s Got Talent.

Of an astonishing 47 music award nominations, the talented performer has won countless music awards over the years; including receiving trophies for two American Music Awards, five BET Awards, one MTV Music Video Award, as well as numerous other accolades.
