To make me an instrument

That gives my words a strong foundation

There's something that moves within me

Grant me your Spirit
So that I can speak the truth
I know that some might not listen

Into the hearts of those who need it

Or when you have other dark thoughts
There is a Savior
Who can bring you out of the depths
He can lead you through the dark
And help you climb the steps

He knows your every heartbreak

He knows your every sorrow
He knows every stain

So you can feel the peace His mercy can bring
There are so many things that go wrong in life
But He can put right everything
Miracles are real
I can't ever tell you that they're not
I am not just saying that
It's not merely a comforting thought
The Spirit's been undeniable
Every time I open my heart
Christ has shown me it's possible
To delete my sins and restart

We have many missions
While we are all on this Earth
But I believe we all have one in common
It's to show everyone their individual worth
I pray that my voice
Can be a harbinger of truth
