When the storm rages on
I know weather is rolling along
When it's windy or sunny
I know weather's all around me

Yeah, I'm gonna tell you about weather
And I hope that you will understand it better
Let's start out with a certain layer
Of gases that surround Earth, it's the atmosphere
Next up, we have precipitation
Water falls to the ground, it's part of a rotation
The weight of air pressing down on the world
Is called air pressure in case you hadn't heard
Now what exactly is this thing called wind?
It's simply moving air, it can be fast or thin
Now what are those things high in the air
That collect tiny water drops up there?
They're called clouds, they bring down the rain
Upon the world, it's that simple and plain
Now you know a bit more about weather
And I hope these things you will always remember

Now that we understand what weather is
Let's talk about climate, do an analysis
Climate is a pattern of weather over time
In a certain place, it can be hot or dry
Or cold or humid, it depends on the location,
The average temps, and precipitation
One place could be hot and dry all year
While another can vary from wet to clear
This is because of Earth's axis
An imaginary line, but it exists regardless
It is tilted, which affects climate
Remember this, that is your assignment
The last thing that I need to mention
Is a word called season, give me your attention
This means a time duration
With different climates in Earth's rotation
