Ashqelon Quilt - Crown

Golden yellow, green and brown
Most don't see their charming crown
Just ignore and pass them by, but some
Something may remind of where they're from
And if they don't look at me
I think it wouldn't be so painful
To me

I walk on the surface I talk to the leaves
The may understand, I may try to deceive
They look through the surface but I'll never leave
The world which I'm used to is fine, I believe

I surf on the surface, I cry to the wind
I hear my own answers, the wind's at my cheek
My body is strong, my imagination is week
Is it who that I seek, is it you that I seek?
I hear my own answers whoever whatever may speak

Golden yellow, green and brown
Most don't see their shining crown
(If you'd ask me, they do but you'd never ask)

Just ignore and pass them by, but some
Something may remind of where they're from
(Something tells me you don't see the whole picture)
And if they don't look at me
I guess it wouldn't be so painful
(And if they don't look at me)
To me
(Look at me)

I walk on the surface I talk to the leaves
They may understand, I may try to deceive
They look through the surface but I'll never leave
The world which I'm used to is fine I believe

I surf on the surface, I cry to the wind
I hear my own answers, the wind's at my cheek
My body is strong, my imagination is week
Is it who that I seek, is it you that I see
I hear my own answers whoever may speak

(Golden yellow green and brown
Not all see their shining crown
Some ignore and walk away
Some know there's another way)

I hear my own answers whoever may speak

(Golden yellow green and brown
Not all see their shining crown
Some ignore and walk away
Some know there's another way)

And if they don't look at me
I guess it wouldn't be so painful to me
