Monarch Fai - Slinky

Perpetually sinking to depths unknown
I stand still for the moment
Knowing I'll be set in rolling
Always the stone
Now I scribble my travels into little poems
Spit over shotgun blast
Gripping the mast for stability
I'm a product of civility to pacify my animosity
Punching shadows behind a door
Hang a noose inside the closet
Every morning I see death staring at me watching
Hoping my car don't crash or police don't pass
See as I swing down these steps I collapse into puddles of bound molecules
Spreading thin as the day tunes out
Stars feel brighter soon
Take the lighter to bring up the moon
And float away in the clutch of a child
Soar to heights above my position
Only to be sent back down
The cycle
I'm tryna achieve nirvana
Break my peace over a dime looking like fine wine
Take my sips of forbidden fruits
Gave me a microphone to spit my truth
Slow dancing in this room
Blessed to be pressed against the cool floor
Let me show you how to jump
Touch your fingertips against the ceiling
Let's get rid of this feeling
Or drop me down to earth so I'll show you flying is tripping but just missing
Loss always feels like rain upon my skin
Warmth of the world but never lets me in
So I'll change phases into gaseous vapors
And exhale out my existence into shit that make you fail litmus
The trees ain't so bad nowadays...
The highs you see never fade
So instead I chill, finna elevate
Escalating the conflict
Worldly thoughts for a man made construct
Bound by this metal prison
Just let me fall
And repeat the cycle once again
Cause the pain feels like the only friend I rely on
Cause pain creeps out your throat and sings pretty songs
About girls who got away and sunshine you could catch n play
Even if they all end up on your grave
Carved into marble, memorial like your life
Silent
But here we dream
A collection of protons encircled by electrons
Energy burst volcanoes of the psyche
I'm a song they never meant to sing
I'm a lyric written into the desk behind the killer
Look close you know it gets thicker
Sing a song for the dead my friend
And let it roll off your tongue as smoothly
And for me to never hear of my shame
Tap two times for the truth
And here I lie
In a pile of myself
Once again

Til somebody pick me back up
And we repeat the first verse
Riding in a black hearse
I don't like being at a funeral
So cremate me in my chains
And please let me lay here undisturbed
My remains...
Blown off the edge of the table
Maybe one day I'll be whole again
