J-Xtreme - Chuckie

Um
Someday you’ll be great
Someday you will
Let's Go
(Yeah)
Who’s the type to crack a joke in the class?
A little chuckle when it’s serious he’s holding his laugh
Keeping it lowkey to avoid the eye of his prof
Cause one mistake could lead to him being sent off
And outside of the door
Now who’s the type to rock the baggiest jeans?
Wearing his cap backwards cause he want to be Em
Cause he wanted to be like every single rapper he’s seen
Pop guns and Crip walk like it’s 2003
Now who’s the type to visualize his whole life in a movie?
A first person point of view and a poetic soliloquy
Like a Shakespeare novel
Though the setting’s in real life
But my bet is it ain't as tragic as Macbeth
Or Romeo and Juliet funny how tragedy be
Such a classic to Shakespeare
Who mastered every piece
I ain't trying to debunk all the achievements he has
But Chuckie wish that he could
Gain same success in his craft (yee)
This is the moment so watch as the story unfolds
(Story unfolds)
So curious bout the future but no one ever really knows
(Really knows)
You can only wait for it, stay patient grab a seat and see
(Seat and see)
Will he ever make it?
This a story about a young boy Chuckie
Okay, settle down and smell the aroma
Something’s freshly baked
And being brought out of the oven
This ain't that type of cake
Cause it don’t got that sweet taste
It’s kind of plain, he’s taking of straight away
To the bakery to buy it
He sees different kinds of flavors that catches his eye
And some that do not he’s hesitant to try
Cause they maybe like Bertie Bott's Harry Potter beans
Oh there’s one with fillings inside so emotional since
He hears the bread calling him like a vocational priest
He thought about being a baker making bread out of yeast,
And bread out of dough
What if it’s something deeper than that?
A representation in peso piled up paper of stacks
But won’t get to find out cause he ain't ever try to delve in
The young mind of a six year old
At that age nothing made sense
When life was simple, he just had to eat, play and repeat
Unaware of what’s happening
Cause ignorance means you’re free (yee)
This is the moment so watch as the story unfolds
(Story unfolds)
So curious bout the future but no one ever really knows
(Really knows)
You can only wait for it, stay patient grab a seat and see
(Seat and see)
Will he ever make it?
This a story about a young boy Chuckie
You know, he aint as bad as he seems
He tried to break a few rules to feel like a real OG
But still complied with all the standards that the school has set
And tried to get
An award for all the effort he spent
Young boy was also known to be a casanova
Flirted with girls on the low when the class was over
Made him look stupid but butterflies gave a certain kind of drive
On top of the shows on tv and those that he sees online
Got him wanting to get women like Johnson in 85’
But needed a bit of magic to use when it’s showtime
But no lie he tends to never show when it’s time
All jokes aside though his intentions were never to harm
But he’s way older now and noted down the lessons he needs
Using the knowledge he has gained to pursue what he believes
Taking that first big step towards the vision he sees
Don’t close your eyes it’s bout to start the opening scene (yee)
This is the moment so watch as the story unfolds
(Story unfolds)
So curious bout the future but no one ever really knows
(Really knows)
You can only wait for it, stay patient grab a seat and see
(Seat and see)
Will he ever make it?
This a story about a young boy Chuckie
This is the moment so watch as the story unfolds
(Story unfolds)
So curious bout the future but no one ever really knows
(Really knows)
You can only wait for it, stay patient grab a seat and see
(Seat and see)
Will he ever make it?
