Speed&kaos - On My Mind 2 (feat. LA Odyssey)

I'm just trying to be a better person
The reason I'm making music is to feel like have a purpose
And feel so worthless
But I get nervous when I post my music
My only goal is to help people
I hope there's people who use it
To cope with the problems
It's for the people who have fallen
And the people who hit the bottom
I don't know if Imma make it in the music industry
But I got people telling me that I'm good
But think it's just sympathy
I hope there's a moment in life when I have an epiphany
Where I believe in my ability to rap until then I guess I'm worthless
I'm a burden
Have no purpose
Slur my words
So rap ain't working
Looking back to the past
I didn't care I played and laughed
But nowadays it's harder
At 16 lost my father
Now it's me, my mom, and 2 younger brothers tryna make it through life

Oh you're on my mind
Always thinking of you
Dad I miss so you much
Wish that I could see you
But I got my head down
Only so much I do
Dad I'm feeling so lost
No one I can turn to

Crying late at night while I stay awake to write
I'm just spilling all my feelings into the pages that I write
It gets way too much to handle
And I think that I should channel all my tears into my raps
Because I lost my dad I lost myself
And I don't know what to do
I feel overwhelmed
I can never see the day that I'm moving on
And it's still hard to believe that you're really gone
I'm trying not to cry but the feelings are too much
You got me asking why
Now I feel like I lost touch
With myself
Now I got an empty void that I wish I could fill
But I tell myself I gotta keep pushing through
But I'm always being brought down
It don't matter what I even do
I and know that that's a part of life
And their always gonna put me down
But it's killing me when the comments are mostly from my hometown
And I'm left to drown in the pain

Oh you're on my mind
Always thinking of you
Dad I miss so you much
Wish that I could see you
But I got my head down
Only so much I do
Dad I'm feeling so lost
No one I can turn to
